Nebezial's "Ravine" Comics : UE4 Shiva PBR Character

In February/March 2016, I wanted to try sculpting and rendering a PBR character in Unreal Engine 4. I stumbled accross this great character concept by Nebezial from his "Ravine" comics and it just stuck on my mind so I decided to give it a go.

This was my first time trying a PBR workflow and I learned a lot. I gave a lot of efforts to make it look as good as possible and match the concept art as much as possible and although I'm not super happy about it, I think it's fairly decent considering it's my first PBR experience :)

I'm not used to sculpt things in Zbrush and aiming for a realistic look so it was definitly a good way to get out of my comfort zone and try new things! I also took the liberty to composite a beauty shot in Gimp, just for fun :)
